Ishmael

Please have chapter 11 finished for tomorrow with questions finished. 

You have a 2 page writing assignment due next Friday, January 18th.  It should answer the question How does the concept of the Hero’s Journey work within the context of the novel Ishmael?  Some directions this discussion might take:

  • Who is the Hero?
  • Name and describe the steps, but go beyond this.
  • Which steps are more important in this context?
  • Is the Hero’s Journey a Taker or a Leaver story?

We will finish the book by the middle of next week, test on Thursday, Jan 17.
