First Amendment PSA Contest

During this marking period we will be researching the First Amendment and creating a 60 second public service announcement to submit to the GVCLU PSA Contest.  The due date for our completed PSA is April 1st.

Today we began brainstorming and the class decided to focus on the idea of petitioning the government for a redress of grievances.

Your assignment for tomorrow is to have an example of people petitioning the government.  It could be a newspaper article, or a historical example from a textbook, or an Internet site.  We will look at these on Tuesday to begin building a working definition of what it means to petition the government.
