Catcher in the Rye

Today we will finish Chapter 8, please have the notes typed up for tomorrow (one copy for me, one for you).  You should have all notes through Chapter 7 typed up and submitted at this point. 

For Friday, please write two paragraphs that defines the term imagination.  Tell me what it is, why it is important, and give me some examples from book, movies, news, history, or your own life.

The following clip is from the movie Six Degrees of Separation.  It gives a bit of analysis of imagination and Catcher in the Rye.  We will use this as supplemental material to the book.
