Perks of Being A Wallflower

Please keep up with your reading.  I am assigning about 5 pages of reading per night.  We are beginning on page 76 today.  Also, please be looking at the songs and jotting down ideas in the margin where you see connections with the book.  You will be responsible for discussing these lyrics and where they parallel or relate to the themes, characters, and other details from the book.  You might want to begin keeping a Thinking Map, or using some other organizational tool for keeping track of these connections.

 For Friday, please write two pages explaining how Charlie is following the Hero’s Journey.  The explanation for the Hero’s Journey can be found here.  Please adhere to the submission guidelines that are linked in the sidebar.
