Thematic Essay

When looking at the Thematic Essay, remember to:

  •  Your intro and conclusion should include the thesis, the topic sentences (reworded) from each body paragraph, any info needed to address the task as a whole.
  • Be sure to use paragraphs
  • Be sure to use a tree map to plan out the essay.
  • Use complete sentences (write them in the tree map - will save you time)

US HISTORY STUDENTS:  For tomorrow, please look at the August 2007 US History Regents Thematic Essay and identify the task and possible ways of answering it.

WRITING RCT STUDENTS:  No homework tonight.
