Today we looked at some Gilgamesh animation projects on You Tube.
Homework for Thursday:
Choose a literary element to demonstrate via PowerPoint animation (for example mood, characterization, flashback, structure).
Choose a short plot sequence that you will animate.
Choose a theme that your literary element will develop.

For tomorrow, please identify and explain three elements that support the theme of friendship in Gilgamesh. You may make a list, or thinking map, or write a quick paragraph. We talked quickly about the friendship between Enkidu and Gilgamesh as being one element that supports this theme. Below, find the notes from today.

Today we finished Tablet III, and began Tablets IV and V. Enkidu and Gilgamesh have gotten the blessing of Ninsun, Gilgameshes mom, and of the elders. They leave for the cedar forest. We will try to finish the story on Monday.
