LISTENING SELECTION
Today we began a new listening selection on the Greek philosopher Socrates. We identified a thesis statement from the task and two questions to help us pull important information. We listened to the selection once and then worked to organized our ideas and details before the second listening, which will happen in class tomorrow.

LISTENING TASK
Today we looked at the ESSAY TREE MAP TEMPLATE. You will be expected to be able to fill out a blank template by Friday of this week. By Friday of next week you will be expected to recreate the template from scratch.
