Gothic Short Stories
Class Expectations: Students will be expected to complete homework and other assignments on time and conduct themselves in a manner which allows the class to function efficiently and maximizes their own engagement.

Be seated and quiet when the bell rings.

Have all materials needed for the class at hand.

Participate fully in a manner that allows for the full participation of others.

Use the strategies learned in previous years and in other classes.
Grade 11/12 Homework Policy: Homework is due at the beginning of the class period. Late homework will not be accepted for credit
Grading: Final grades for each marking period are based on the following ratio:

Homework/Class work – 40%
-
Final Papers/Projects – 30%
-
Participation – 30%
Participation grade will be based on student preparedness, engagement in class activities and attendance.
